Peter Eckerline

Peter Eckerline is an individual whose life work has profoundly influenced those around him. After a fulfilling 39-year tenure at Merrill Lynch, where he held esteemed positions such as Senior Consultant and Managing Director of the Eckerline Wealth Management Group, he retired to concentrate on philanthropic efforts and volunteer work.

Under his leadership, the Eckerline Wealth Management Group thrived as a beacon of financial guidance in the Midwest. This team, established and led by him until his retirement, is renowned for its commitment to helping clients attain their economic aspirations. His guidance was instrumental in equipping the team to deliver exceptional wealth management services to numerous individuals and families.

Throughout his career, he acquired the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation and was frequently honored as the premier financial advisor in Minnesota by Barrons, among other publications. He also held membership in the Pinnacle Club at Merrill Lynch, marking him as a top performer within the company.

He resides in Orono, Minnesota, where he raised his three adult children, all of whom he is immensely proud of. He considers his life to be abundantly blessed and is driven by a desire to support organizations that assist individuals who may not have had similar opportunities.

His philanthropic efforts extend beyond his professional achievements. He has actively supported several organizations, including Faiths Lodge, Pay it Forward, Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. His philanthropy also reaches his birthplace, Ladysmith, Wisconsin, and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, his alma mater, where he earned his undergraduate and Master's degrees.

In his leisure time, he enjoys golf, basketball, and pickleball, as well as outdoor activities like fishing. He particularly cherishes time spent with his family at their cabin or their residence in Naples.
